Renowned Italian women’s shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti has just unveiled his new capsule collection of stilettos, handbags, and accessories in Ibiza at a high-fashion event held at Studio Antonioli in Playa den Bossa, Ibiza, before an elegant, and cosmopolitan audience, including many distinguished clients of the renowned women’s fashion designer. The event with Zanotti brought together more than a hundred people at a sophisticated cocktail party featuring celebrities, admirers, and models.
The design of this capsule collection dates back to 2022 and was first presented in Dubai, Singapore, Miami, and other influential international fashion destinations. For this occasion, it has undergone revisions in color and accessories and is inspired by the Pituusan island. “Ibiza is a timeless fashion destination that I know well, since I’ve had my own store in Marina Ibiza and we’ve held several events featuring luxury women’s footwear from my previous collections,” Zanotti noted, adding that this capsule collection “is based on the colors of the sea off Ibiza and Formentera—a unique blend of blue and green that lends the shoes and handbags a unique elegance, distinction, and sophistication, just like my creations.”
The collection of high heels, low heels, and flats, along with luxury handbags and accessories from Reflejos de Ibiza—all in the same shade—was displayed in an exclusively designed indoor window display at Studio Antonioli, a space that showcases leading, contemporary international brands.
Pioneer of modern “stilettos”
Zanotti is one of the leading modern designers of the much-admired stilettos—those sky-high, high-fashion heels created by Salvatore Ferragamo that have been worn by celebrities and public figures such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys, among others. “I like working with artists because they’re fantastic—pure inspiration for a designer like me who seeks elegance and quality in shoes that are impossible yet incredibly feminine, and that enhance the artists’ figures.”
Giusseppe expressed his delight at returning to Ibiza. “I’m happy and proud to be here again to present these new models: it feels like a second home, surrounded by customers and personalities you don’t often see on the island. It’s important to keep the brand at the forefront of fashion with new standards and productions adapted to this new era, and Ibiza is the perfect destination for that.”
