The Barcelona International Boat Show is holding its 63rd edition from October 14 to 18 at the Moll de la Fusta and Marina Port Vell, featuring 170 direct exhibitors, more than 300 brands represented, and over 200 boats. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the event remains a leading trade show in Spain and one of the most important in Europe.
Among the confirmed exhibitors is the Beneteau Group, which will be representing Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon, and Excess—both motorboats and sailboats. They will be joined by Mercury, Fjord, Bluegame, Navan, Quicksilver, Sea Ray, and X-Yachts.
One of the highlights of this edition is the return of the high-end sailboat brands Oyster, Amel, and YYachts, which are back in Barcelona after several years of absence. There are also a number of Spanish shipyards, such as Amura, Kattum, Lema, and Pantiera. Joining them are, among others, Aventura, Bali, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Girbau, Highfield, Honda, Karnic, Kawasaki, Kumbra, Leopard, Level, Maxim, Pardo, Pirelli, Raymarine, Sasga, Saxdor, and Sunreef.
A world first and a national first
The exhibition, spread across both water and land, features the 19.65-meter YYachts Y6 sailboat as a world premiere and the YOT 53 catamaran—equipped with two outboard motors—as a national premiere. In addition, eight boats nominated for the European Yacht of the Year awards will be on display.

There will be boats of all lengths, including 14 vessels over 16 meters, among them the Amel 50.2, the Cranchi 62 LAI, the Pearl 63, and the Beneteau First 60. On land, the Port Vell docks will host models such as the Bayliner C21 OB, the Williams Jet Tender-Turbo Jet 280 MX, the Tiger Infinity 280, and the Highfield UL 240. The show also boasts the largest selection of catamarans on the European boat show calendar.
Electric Vehicles, Scuba Diving, and Water Tests
Under the theme “SeaMotion,” Moll de la Fusta will host two major new features: “Experience Water,” an area for in-water demonstrations of products and accessories, and the Indoor Pavilion, featuring two new themed areas. The first, Marinas & Harbor Facilities, focuses on the role of marinas as key infrastructure for the sector and marine tourism, with the direct or indirect participation of more than 240 marina facilities. The second, “Diving, Shopping & Water Sports,” will promote scuba diving, water sports, and the nautical lifestyle.
Sustainability will have its own section at the Innovation Dock, which will feature 100% electric boats and gadgets, with an onshore exhibition and demonstrations at sea, to showcase solutions that prevent polluting emissions and noise pollution.
Test sailings for potential buyers will also be expanded, and the show will host the classic Barcelona International Rowing Trophy. On the culinary front, Marina Port Vell will feature a concentration of bars and restaurants, along with a networking and hospitality area, while the Moll de la Fusta will add two new dining venues.
Ágora Port, the professional forum
From October 14 to 16, Marina Port Vell will host Ágora Port, the boat show’s conference program, coordinated by the Port of Barcelona and Barcelona Clúster Nàutic. A total of 25 speakers will participate in nine sessions on professional training, the relationship between ports and cities, new trends in recreational boating, and the future of adaptive sailing.
Luis Conde, president of the boat show, said it was “one of the best editions in recent years” and highlighted that the leading brands are reinforcing their commitment to Barcelona. Josep Antoni Llopart, the event’s director, explained that the offerings are very diverse, aimed at reaching “both those who want to buy a boat and those who want to get started” in sailing.
For his part, Jordi Carrasco, executive director of ANEN, emphasized that the sector is undergoing a period of transformation, facing challenges such as competitiveness, training, sustainability, and new ways to get involved in boating.
The market is keeping pace: according to ANEN, based on records from the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine, 4,371 recreational boats were registered in Spain between January and August of this year, a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
