The launch of Forbes Baleares brought together some of the archipelago’s leading institutional representatives and business leaders in Palma de Mallorca for an evening marked by a vision for the future, innovation, and local talent. The terrace of the Meliá Victoria Hotel served as the venue for this gathering, which marks a new step in Forbes Spain’s editorial strategy.

Among the most prominent attendees were Marga Prohens, president of the Government of the Balearic Islands; Jaime Martínez, mayor of Palma; Gabriel Le Senne, president of the Balearic Parliament; Alfonso Rodríguez, Government Delegate for the Balearic Islands; Andrés Rodríguez, president of SpainMedia and editor of Forbes Spain; and Ignacio Quintana, CEO of SpainMedia, along with numerous business leaders, executives, and key figures from the Balearic business community.

During her remarks, Marga Prohens highlighted the impact of this new initiative: “I am convinced that your participation will help enrich the public debate, enabling us to better address the future challenges we face. Moreover, it will do so by highlighting what defines us: local talent, innovation, our business community, and that lifestyle that is also part of our identity.”

The day was filled with institutional presentations, opportunities for networking, and conversations that reflect the dynamism of a community looking to the future with ambition. The launch of Forbes Baleares represents not only a new publishing venture, but also a bridge between the local and the global.
