Air Nostrum, Iberia’s franchised airline for regional flights, has launched a new recruitment process for flight attendants with the goal of expanding its workforce at its Mallorca base.
Next Monday, October 5, the company will send part of its recruitment team to Palma to hold an open house. The event will give candidates the chance to learn firsthand about the company, the position, and the career opportunities associated with joining the company.
The interviews will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Palma Bellver by Meliá hotel, located on Gabriel Roca Avenue in Palma. Those interested may attend the event directly; no prior invitation is required.
To participate in the process, candidates must first upload their resume to Air Nostrum’s official job portal and apply for the relevant position.
What does Air Nostrum look for in candidates?
The process is intended for candidates who meet three main requirements: residency in Mallorca, a good command of English, and a valid TCP certificate. Applicants must bring two passport-size photos, one full-body photo, a copy of their ID card or residence and work permit, two copies of their resume, and documentation verifying their educational background to the event.
The selection process will continue after the interview. Those who pass the in-person interview and the psychometric tests will move on to a training program lasting approximately one and a half months, designed to help them obtain their pilot’s license and the necessary certifications to operate the company’s aircraft.
Air Nostrum operates for the Iberia Group under the Iberia Regional Air Nostrum brand and currently has a workforce of approximately 1,600 employees.
The airline connects 59 destinations in nine countries across Europe and North Africa with a fleet of 46 next-generation aircraft. Throughout its 32-year history, the company has carried more than 120 million passengers, consolidating its position in the regional aviation sector.
This new recruitment drive in Mallorca thus strengthens Air Nostrum’s presence in one of the Mediterranean’s major aviation hubs and opens a new pathway into the industry for professionals who meet the company’s requirements.
