CaixaForum Palma’s “Nits d’estiu” will kick off this Thursday, July 2, with the “Nit de jazz i moviment,” an evening featuring jazz, improvisation, and dance.

The first event in this series will feature a jazz concert by Leïla Duclos, as well as the dance performance “VEN,” the first piece created by the duo Caterina Varela and Alexis Fernández, known as “La Macana.”

Similarly, as the “la Caixa” Foundation noted in a press release, the center will also host a “jam session” led by Factoria de Músics, a leading school in Mallorca for the teaching of modern music.

In addition, tap dance enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn the basics of this dance form with multidisciplinary dancer Júlia Ortínez.

The “la Caixa” Foundation is organizing four themed nights in Palma as part of the “Nits d’estiu” series, which will take place on Thursdays, July 2, 9, 16, and 23.

As they have pointed out, CaixaForum Palma offers a diverse cultural program in a wide variety of formats, such as workshops, performances, the performing arts, and concerts.

During the four scheduled nights, the center will remain open until midnight, including the store and the café, which will offer a special promotion to complement the program.
