Fergus Group, the hotel company owned by Mallorcan businessman Pep Cañellas, has signed a new management agreement to take over the daily management of the Don Juan Resort Affiliated by Fergus, located in Lloret de Mar (Girona), effective immediately.

The property's owners have decided to replace the previous operator and entrust the management of the establishment to the Balearic-based group, thus consolidating a long-term collaboration to ensure the continuity of the establishment's business plan.

With 795 rooms, the complex is considered the largest hotel in Catalonia.

The agreement strengthens the chain's operational presence in the Catalan market, where it already manages six operating hotels with a combined total of more than 2,100 rooms; these will be joined in 2028 by the opening of the Fergus Style Port Ginesta, a five-star project located in Sitges.

Fergus Group's founder and executive chairman, Pep Cañellas, has emphasized the group's commitment to revitalizing mature vacation destinations by repositioning assets and improving the quality of its offerings.

For their part, the complex's owners have highlighted the operational strength of the management company in taking on this new phase of the property.

With this contract, the Balearic Islands-based company maintains its sustainable growth strategy in Spain, focused on long-term management agreements.
