“Everything I want, God multiplies and gives to Dua Lipa,“ says one of the year’s most viral memes. The singer continues to prove that her life is an endless summer. The latest setting? The island of Ibiza, where it has become a tradition for the Londoner to spend her birthday (which is on August 22). She has been seen there with her siblings, Gjin and Rina Lipa. The trio is enjoying all the delights of the Mediterranean aboard a Frauscher 1414 Demon Air, christened “Hailey Su.”
Although its dimensions classify it as a high-speed vessel, the company itself describes it as a yacht because of the large number (and quality) of features this small but powerful travel companion offers.
The 1414 Demon Air is the flagship model of the nearly century-old Austrian shipyard Frauscher, whose motto is ‘engineers of emotions,’ combining the brand’s sporty character with an open-plan design intended for enjoyment at sea. The boat, which measures 13.91 meters long and 3.90 meters wide, is equipped with two engines, each developing 480 hp, which allows it to reach a top speed of 38 knots.
Its silhouette highlights the shipyard’s distinctive features: the flat bow with a vertical sheer, the Z-shaped side profile, and the frameless windshield. The Demon Air’s independent centerboard frees up space on deck, where a cozy lounge area with a bar and a spacious swim platform take center stage.
One of its most distinctive features is the retractable solar roof, made entirely of exposed carbon fiber and weighing only 150 kilograms, which slides sideways to provide shade to the aft area. Along with the side air intakes and removable carbon fiber bow pillars, this feature has become a visual hallmark of the model. The roof incorporates speakers to enhance onboard sound and adjustable LED lighting.
Inside, it has a spacious bathroom and two sleeping areas with capacity for four people, making it ideal for both day trips and overnight stays on board.
Another getaway in a summer of celebrations
The trip to Ibiza comes after 30-year-old Dua Lipa spent much of the summer in Italy, where she married actor Callum Turner in June in a lavish three-day ceremony in Sicily, attended by guests such as Troye Sivan, Elton John, and Donatella Versace. The couple had already married in early May in an intimate ceremony in London.
While Turner has resumed his professional commitments and is promoting his new movie, *One Night Only*, Dua Lipa is in no hurry to end her own Mediterranean romance, with Ibiza and the Frauscher “Hailey Su” now added to the list of places for her summer.
