With less than a month and a half to go before it opens, the Valencia Boat Show has reached 95% occupancy of its exhibition space—a record high for the Valencia boat show. The event, now in its 17th edition, will take place from October 28 to November 1 at Marina Port Valencia and the surrounding Veles e Vents area, bringing together recreational boating, the industry, tourism, and maritime culture over the course of five days.
The figure comes at a time of growth for the Spanish boating industry. According to data from the National Association of Boating Companies (ANEN), 4,371 recreational boats were registered in Spain between January and August 2026, a 7% increase over the same period the previous year. Motorboats are driving the growth (+15.5% in registrations), and sailboats are also gaining ground (+7.5%), but the most striking figure is for larger vessels: boats between 12 and 16 meters grew by 39.3%, and those over 16 meters by 65.9%.
Established brands and a broad range of offerings
The show will feature exhibitors such as Absolute Yachts, Azimut, Beneteau, De Antonio Yachts, Excess, Fountaine Pajot, Hanse, Lagoon, Nautor Swan, Princess, Rio Yachts, Rodman, Saxdor Yachts, Sealine, Sessa Marine, Sirena Yachts, Solaris Power, and Sunreef Yachts, among others, along with brands of sport boats and RIBs such as Pirelli Speedboats, Sacs, Williams Jet Tenders, and Bayliner. The lineup is rounded out by engines, propulsion systems, safety equipment, paint, and maintenance products, with companies such as Yamaha, Mercury, Torqeedo, Yanmar, Vetus, and 3M, among others.
“Reaching 95% occupancy at this stage is a milestone for the Valencia Boat Show and, above all, a sign of the industry’s confidence,” says Isabel Gil Forteza, director of the show. “Our goal isn’t just to fill the venue: we want Valencia to be, for five days, the place where the industry does business and anyone can experience the sea.”
Dock & Roll, the big new release
In addition to the boating exhibition, the Expo Zone (with free admission) is featuring Dock & Roll this year, a new leisure and dining area with food trucks, live music, and activities for all ages, located next to the playground and connected to the dining options at Veles e Vents.
The program also includes boat trips, tours of the training ship Tirant Primer, an exhibition on lateen sails organized by the Valencian Community Sailing Federation (FVCV), and a concert by Karavana and Anabel Lee on October 31, as part of the Concerts de La Pèrgola series.
