As reported by several celebrity magazines, Alejandro Sanz and Stephanie Cayo, his current partner, are enjoying a few days with the singer’s children in the Balearic Islands—specifically in Mallorca—where they’ve both shared their experience of the total solar eclipse on August 12 on social media.

It is precisely through what they’ve shared on social media (where both of them—though especially the Peruvian actress—have posted) that we’ve been able to confirm they spent their getaway on a true icon of the Mallorcan art of living: the yacht El Macann, a prime example of what can be achieved when technology is put at the service of comfort.

Built by Pershing, a company belonging to the Ferretti Group, this is a state-of-the-art maxi coupé that represents the cutting edge of the Pershing X range. Designed entirely by Fulvio de Simoni, who is responsible for the naval architecture, exterior design, and interior, the yacht combines futuristic materials with performance that rivals that of a competitive sports boat.

With an overall length of 28.09 meters—23.91 meters for the hull and 21.04 meters at the waterline—and a maximum beam of 6.23 meters, El Macann is built from carbon fiber, a material that reduces weight and increases structural rigidity. The yacht displaces 70,000 kilograms when empty and 83,600 kilograms when fully loaded, with a draft of just 1.65 meters, allowing it to access shallow coves and anchorages.

Power is provided by two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each producing 2,638 CV, which propel the yacht to a top speed of 42 knots and a cruising speed of 38 knots, with a range of 380 nautical miles. The fuel capacity is 9,000 liters, and the water capacity is 1,200 liters.

In terms of layout, the Macann has four guest cabins and can accommodate twenty people on board, including passengers and crew. It has a total of six bathrooms, two of which are reserved for the two crew cabins, in accordance with the standard configuration of the Pirshing 9X model.

The Macann is available for charter in the Mediterranean, typically based at Moll Vell in Palma, and sails through France, Italy, Malta, and Monaco, with highlights including stops on the Amalfi Coast, Calvi, Corsica, the French Riviera, Ibiza, Sardinia, and the Balearic Islands.

It costs around 75,000 euros per week on yachtcharterfleet.com
