There are more than 10,000 km and a whole ocean between Puglia (Italy) and Sun Valley (California, USA) – a distance that takes almost a full day to travel by plane. However, these two worlds – the elegance and sophistication of the Amalfi Coast and the colorful American pop art of roadside motels – coexist in a single place: the island of Ibiza.
This miracle – the ability to authentically recreate such evocative atmospheres – has been achieved by Concept Hotel Group, which this 2026 season can boast of having two must-visit venues in one of the hottest summer destinations.
Located in the northeast, in Santa Eulalia, and with unparalleled sea views, the Mongibello Hotel exudes the essence of the Italian dolce vita, with a holistic concept that combines design, music, and gastronomy, transporting visitors to another time and place. Taking its name from *The Talented Mr. Ripley*, that hedonistic and aspirational thriller by Patricia Highsmith, the Mongibello has operated as a 5-star hotel since last spring, thanks to an ambitious expansion of its services and its firm commitment to offering an exclusive experience.
The restaurant’s offer – a sister restaurant with a menu that includes Italian classics like spaghetti carbonara and tiramisu – as well as its attractive daily program, which includes themed sessions, aperitif gatherings, a secret club, and even bingo nights, also contribute to that special atmosphere you feel from the moment you set foot in Mongibello.
In addition to offering 168 rooms, Mongibello has chosen to pay homage to iconic figures of Ibiza in its 32 suites, thus connecting with the island’s history, something that has always been fundamental for Diego Calvo, CEO and co-founder of Concept Hotel Group. Among them are figures such as Pachá founder Ricardo Urgell; public relations expert Carlos Martorell; and hotelier Tony Pike, whom Calvo considers his mentor.
Less than 25 kilometers away, in San Antonio Bay – though it could just as easily be a stop on Route 66 – is Los Felices, a hotel inspired by the Palm Springs desert, with the aesthetic of the Californian desert and the vibrant, colorful imagery of the early years of rock and roll.
Located around the pool, the 107 rooms and 6 villas offer an unparalleled setting to feel like a Hollywood star or a casual traveler on the U.S. West Coast. Los Felices is also a hotel dedicated to fashion and to designers, photographers, stylists, and models of all eras. In addition to being an ideal setting for fashion photo shoots, it features a Hall of Fame and makes some of its spaces available to designers to showcase their collections.
The new season in Los Felices is set to be a success with the opening of Nocturna, a club that redefines Ibiza’s nightlife with a highly ambitious concept: to create an experience where music, atmosphere, and people come together to form a destination in their own right. While the days at Los Felices are reminiscent of rock pioneers, the nights at Nocturna invite a conscious modernity, connected to cutting-edge clubbing, where a sense of belonging is as important as exclusivity.
