The latest Bicipalma expansion will add 18 stations and extend the service to the Passeig Marítim and Platja de Palma

The Bicipalma

expansion will include 18 new stations and extend the service to the Passeig Marítim and Platja de Palma.

According to a statement issued by the City Council, the supply contract has already been awarded for the installation, within six months, of 230 electric bicycles

and the necessary docking stations, with a budget of 950,000 euros.

This expansion, promoted by the Board of Directors of the Municipal Parking and Projects Company (SMAP)

, is part of the Integral Action Plan for Playa de Palma.

Additionally, the Board of Directors has awarded the contract for the update and maintenance of software licenses for all current and future Bicipalma stations for a period of four years.

This investment includes the comprehensive management of the service through tools for operation, maintenance, bicycle redistribution, incident management, and a user application.
