Fergus Group has reached 40 hotels in its global portfolio and 23 in Mallorca after taking over management of the Fergus Bamboo Alcudia, a four-star, 208-room property located in Puerto de Alcudia (Mallorca).
According to the Spanish company founded by Pep Cañellas, the acquisition of the property—formerly THB Bamboo Alcudia and located on the shore of Lake Esperanza—was finalized following a management agreement with Calena Partners, the owner of the asset.
This is the second partnership between the two companies following the signing of the agreement for the five-star Fergus Style Tobago hotel in Palmanova.
The hotel has been recently renovated and features 208 rooms, including double rooms and suites, two swimming pools, a buffet restaurant and pool bar, a fitness center, a cycling area, and spaces designed for the MICE segment (meetings and events).
The founder and CEO of Fergus Group, Pep Cañellas, has emphasized that this project marks a “new milestone” for the chain as it reaches 40 active locations and makes its debut in Alcudia Bay—a transaction carried out in collaboration with Calena Partners and THB Hotels during the transfer.
This addition is part of the company’s expansion plan, which has also recently included three properties in Cala Major, one in Puerto de Andratx, and another in Puerto de Pollença.
With 15 years of experience since its founding in 2011, the hotel company has invested more than 150 million euros in asset repositioning and offers more than 16,000 guest rooms through its brands Fergus Hotels, tent Hotels, and Affiliated by Fergus in the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, and Catalonia.
