On Friday, as the sun sets, Beso Beach Ibiza will host an exclusive joint cooking session with Kike Casarrubias and Mon Estrada, the chefs behind OXTE, the Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant, and the upcoming PAPALOTE, which will open its doors in Barcelona this fall. The takeover promises to offer a unique experience where the duo will cook a tasting menu specifically designed for the beach club, where Mexican culinary tradition will dialogue with the ingredients, fire, and the Mediterranean.
Baby Kiss oysters with a mezcal and jalapeño emulsion, carabinero shrimp tacos with bisque and habanero mayonnaise, or the aged Rubia Gallega beef with encacahuatado will be part of a menu that offers a contemporary and relaxed take on Mexican cuisine, connected to the essence of the ‘White Island’.
After enjoying and reflecting on fine dining, we’ll change scenes – and frequencies – to experience the other side of Ibiza. 528 Ibiza (Sant Antoni de Portmany) will open the doors of its club to welcome us with a new edition of BBC Radio 1 Dance, which will feature one of the most anticipated lineups of the summer. Disclosure and Gorgon City will headline a night that will also feature DJs like Jazzy, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Arielle Free, Charlie Hedges, and Sarah Story. Saturday 1
On Saturday, we’ll continue this weekend’s fine-dining culinary journey at Estragón. Two years after its closure, Ibiza’s first Michelin-starred restaurant has just reopened under the direction of Chef Álvaro Sanz at the Fenicia Prestige Hotel, offering two tasting menus that explore the Mediterranean with Ibiza as a starting point.
Each menu takes diners on a journey through the region’s ecosystems, where seasonal ingredients, culinary exploration, and contemporary techniques interact with Mediterranean tradition to create a cohesive experience rooted in the local landscape.
Anyone looking for a great plate of street food and/or a rocker burger should stop by Romeo’s Motel & Diner. There, they can transport themselves to a Route 66 motel and enjoy The Fitzgerald’s menu from the comfort of their table.
The renowned Valencian burger brand, founded by brothers Carlos and Mario Gelabert, brings its culinary world to The Concept Hotel Group’s hotel with a menu that combines classics with new items like diner-style smash burgers, as well as ribs, frankfurters, bowls, and a selection of cocktails designed to complement the neon-lit atmosphere, the American aesthetic and the neon-lit nightlife that define Romeo’s.
In the evening, we’ll return to Club 528 Ibiza to experience firsthand the return of Andy Manumission, one of the island’s legendary figures, who is reviving the freer, more hedonistic spirit of Ibiza’s nightlife. The charming Laura and Ben Santiago, Jo Mills, Danny Rampling, and Jason Bye, among others, will complete the lineup in a journey through the past and present of the island’s club culture.
Sunday 2
When Sunday arrives, we won’t want the weekend to end, let alone the party. That’s why we’ll stretch it out as long as we can to the beat of electronic music. Brunch Electronik is launching a new event at 528 Ibiza in collaboration with FUSE, one of the most respected collectives on the European underground scene.
Its day-and-night format will once again prove why it works so well on the island of endless parties. By day, it offers an open-air musical journey through the hills of Benimussa that will flow naturally from its garden to Club 528 Ibiza well into the early hours of the morning.
More than twelve hours of music, with Enzo Siragusa, Raresh, Apollonia, Margaret Dygas, and Voigtmann, in a lineup designed for lovers of the best house and minimal music. Before heading home, we’ll sit down at Hell’s Kitchen to try its new summer menu. Gordon Ramsay’s first European restaurant, located at The Unexpected Ibiza hotel, has just revamped its menu with a more Mediterranean focus, with dishes like the red snapper tiradito with mango tiger milk, red shrimp carpaccio, shrimp and scallop croquettes gratin, along with classics like the beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. The finishing touch is the Ibiza Sunset, a dessert where pineapple roasted with Amaretto, Ebusitan honey, coconut mousse, and pineapple granita capture the flavor of summer in a single dish.
