If you’re lucky enough to be on vacation or living in Ibiza, we have a plan for you to extend the weekend starting on Thursday. As part of the Movieland series, the Italian idyll of Hotel Mongibello will screen the film ‘Parthenope’ at 9:30 PM – one of Sorrentino’s latest films (in its original language with Spanish subtitles).
The film follows the life of Parthenope, from her birth in Naples in 1950 to the present day, and features impossible loves, endless summers in Capri, the carefree nature of youth, and a city that Sorrentino portrays as beautiful, cruel, and magnetic all at once. On Friday, when we begin our tour of the best beach bars (Ibiza edition), we’ll sit at a table at Es Fumeral, with the sea as our backdrop and our feet in the sand. A restaurant where Alberto Pacheco reinterprets Mediterranean cuisine with technique, sensitivity, and an absolute respect for seasonal ingredients.
If you’re planning to experience an authentic Ibizan party tonight, take note. CULTO is coming to Playa Soleil with a lineup that will blend techno, hardgroove, Latin club, Latin techno, bounce, and hard bounce, featuring Peter Blue, Thanila, and Loren in the DJ booth. Continuing our culinary journey through the island’s best beach bars, we’ll stop at El Bigotes. Located at the foot of Cala Mastella, there are few restaurants in Ibiza as authentic as this one. Founded by Juan Ferrer Marí, it is now run by his daughter Ana and granddaughter Mónica, who have kept the original recipe intact: fish stew and rice served separately, cooked over a wood fire, just as it has always been made.
After an afternoon of rest and relaxation by the sea, we’ll get into party mode and head to elrow. UNVRS will once again host the electronic music festival, full of house, tech house, and techno sounds spread across six different immersive worlds – two of which are completely new, along with the already familiar Neo Kaos Garden, Delusionville 2.0, Nowmads: New World, and Hallucinarium.
If you prefer to go to a less crowded – but not boring – party, grime king Skepta will bring his ‘Más Tiempo’ club project to the Club Room at Hï Ibiza, where he will continue his residency until October 3.
Sunday 26
On Sunday, we’ll finish our coastal route at our ‘best beach bar’ of 2026, which is also the best for all island residents. Located in Cala Jondal, in the south of Ibiza, Casa Jondal has become one of the most popular gastronomic destinations thanks to Rafa Zafra, whose cuisine has elevated fish and seafood to the highest standards.
In the afternoon, we’ll stroll under the sun until we reach Paradiso. There, Mexican photographer Paul Fuentes presents an entirely new solo exhibition as part of the 24h Arty People series, Concept Hotel Group’s cultural initiative aimed at transforming its hotels into authentic galleries.
The series, filmed in several of the group’s most iconic hotels, explores the idea of what would happen if the wilderness ventured into the island’s most sophisticated spaces. The result is a surreal collection in which architecture and wildlife coexist in the most unexpected ways.
