TUI Spain opened its first travel agency in Mallorca, located in Platja de Palma, this weekend, with the aim of strengthening its growth in the Spanish market.
As TUI has emphasized, the new agency aims to bring the company’s range of products and services closer to local customers, from short getaways in Spain and Europe to major vacations, cruises, tours, and experiences around the world.
TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel has emphasized that Mallorca has been one of the company’s most important destinations for decades and “continues to be a key part” of its global network. “Every year, millions of international travelers discover the TUI experience on the island, which provides us with a very solid foundation to grow our customer base locally and continue developing our business in Spain and other markets,” he added.
The new agency combines personalized advice with direct access to TUI’s global portfolio. Clients can book everything from weekend city stays and beach vacations to long-haul trips, cruises, tours, and tailor-made itineraries in destinations across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
According to Andrea Pfeiffer, General Manager of TUI Spain, Portugal and America, this first branch in Mallorca brings the TUI brand closer to Spanish customers. “We want to continue developing our business on the Iberian Peninsula and strengthen our ties with Latin America, building on the strength of a brand that millions of travelers already know and trust,” she emphasized.
The company has emphasized that the opening is part of TUI’s global strategy to grow in markets where its brand already enjoys high recognition thanks to its leadership in the vacation travel sector. Destinations like Mallorca, where millions of travelers interact with the brand each year, represent a key opportunity to attract new customers and generate demand for its global offering, they said.
