The Pardo 43 New from Cantiere del Pardo is a truly new vessel. While it retains the essence and form of its predecessor, every aspect of it has been reimagined. From the hull to the interiors, the team explored ways to rethink a boat that had already been a success.
It retains the length, beam, and luxurious center console style, but improves the hull’s dynamic and aesthetic features. The waterlines were redesigned to improve wave penetration and make sailing more comfortable. The freeboard is slightly lower and much more streamlined; natural light has also been increased with two windows in the hull, and the aesthetic form and effectiveness of the air intake have been refined. In addition to its obvious function, the air intake helps direct sound outward, so overall, the hull improvements have also enhanced the acoustics. Aerodynamics and comfort at the helm have been optimized by raising the windshield and connecting it to the T-Top, a connection that improves the structural rigidity of the assembly.

The deck plan features minor modifications designed to enhance the social aspect, as it provides another gathering spot at the bow with a new bench facing forward and expands the sun deck area. At the stern, the height of the sun deck was lowered slightly to increase the sense of security.
The Pardo 43 New features improvements to both the dynamic and aesthetic aspects of the hull
Zuccheri Yacht Design and Nauta Design were responsible for the naval architecture and exterior design, while the interior was designed exclusively by Nauta.

There are three possible interior layouts, but the version we tested—and, in our opinion, the most versatile—features an interior dinette table that easily converts into a double bed. It’s a space where you can entertain guests for dinner or when the summer heat calls for air conditioning.

The space for the instrument panel in the helm station has been expanded to include three touchscreens that integrate navigation, engine data, lighting, and onboard automation, allowing the entire boat to be controlled from this location. The helm position is comfortable and ergonomic, and the boat is inherently stable, although the Quick or Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer is available as an option.

The boat we had the opportunity to sail in Port El Balís, courtesy of Motyvel, was equipped with the top-of-the-line engine setup: two Volvo Penta IPS 650s, each producing 480 hp, which allowed us to reach top speeds of 33 knots while maintaining a distinct sense of stability. We set the cruising speed at 18 knots for the best speed-to-range ratio, but it is possible to opt for a higher speed; of course, this will always depend on sea conditions.
Without a doubt, the Pardo 43 New is a completely new model that will surpass the more than 300 units sold by its predecessor.
