David Beckham’s passion for the sea and luxury has a name: Seven. The former soccer player and his wife, Victoria, have been spotted sailing this summer aboard their impressive Riva 130′ Bellissima, a superyacht that has turned heads off the coasts of Ibiza, Formentera, and the French Riviera.
Although there is no exact record of when the Beckham family acquired this impressive floating mansion, the Riva 130′ Bellissima was built and launched in 2022 by the historic Italian shipyard Riva, part of the Ferretti Group. Since then, the yacht has become one of the symbols of the exclusive lifestyle of the couple and their children, who have shared many photos of their family life on board on social media.
In any case, this nautical gem—estimated to be worth between 18 and 20 million euros—has been described by numerous media outlets as a true “crystal palace” due to its spectacular contemporary design and expansive glass surfaces.
The vessel was designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the heads of Officina Italiana Design, who conceived a superyacht with elegant and sporty lines, featuring expansive views of the sea through its enormous windows.
Measuring 40 meters in length and nearly 8 meters in beam, the yacht combines state-of-the-art materials, such as carbon fiber and steel, to offer a perfect balance of luxury, performance, and sophistication. Inside, it can accommodate up to 10 guests in five exclusive suites, designed to provide maximum comfort.
The layout is organized across three decks, with plenty of spaces dedicated to leisure and relaxation. Among its main attractions are a spacious flybridge, several sun deck areas, an elegant outdoor dining area, and a beach club located at the stern with direct access to the sea—all designed to help you enjoy life on board to the fullest.
In terms of its mechanical specifications, the Riva 130′ Bellissima is equipped with two MTU engines, which allow it to reach a top speed of around 22 knots and maintain a cruising speed of close to 20 knots, offering a comfortable, quiet, and efficient sailing experience for long voyages across the Mediterranean.
The name is no coincidence. “Seven” is a dual and deeply personal tribute for Beckham. On the one hand, it refers to the legendary jersey number he wore for much of his playing career, especially at Manchester United. On the other hand, it matches the middle name of his youngest daughter, Harper Seven Beckham. In fact, the family’s previous yacht, a Riva Argo 90, was also named that.
Over the past few summers, David and Victoria Beckham have enjoyed long cruises across the Mediterranean aboard the Seven, visiting destinations such as Ibiza (where they ran into Michael Jordan and soccer players Marcos Llorente and Ferran Torres), Formentera, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez.
