Girbau Boats has unveiled the new hardtop configuration for its already iconic G31 model, a solution designed to maximize protection and comfort on board without compromising the clean, Mediterranean aesthetic that characterizes the Costa Brava-based company. The G31, which has already been nominated for the 2026 ADI Design Awards, incorporates this hard top as another option within its philosophy of customization and craftsmanship.
The G31’s new hard top blends seamlessly with the model’s fluid, contemporary lines, offering effective protection from the sun and rain without altering the sleek silhouette that defines the boat. This solution expands the boat’s versatility, allowing owners to enjoy sailing in any weather conditions and extending the sailing season. As Ramon Girbau, founder of the shipyard, explains, “The G31 is a true evolution that never loses the Girbau spirit—the result of dialogue with our customers and dealers.”
A boat for enjoying the sea
The G31 with Hard Top retains all the technological innovations that have made this model a benchmark in its segment. Its infusion-molded hull reduces weight and improves fuel efficiency, while the integrated smart home systems allow you to control the lights, batteries, and climate control from mobile devices. The powertrain, available with one or two YANMAR 4LV engines rated at 230 or 250 HP, ensures exceptional performance and stable, safe navigation.
With a length of 9.42 meters and capacity for 10 people, the G31 with Hard Top reinforces Girbau Boats’ commitment to elegant and functional boating. Its expanded swim platform and optimized layout—both at the stern and in the cabin—make it the ideal boat for weekend getaways, guaranteeing a unique experience in the Mediterranean without sacrificing the protection and comfort of the new Hard Top.
