“Everything I want, God multiplies and gives it to Dua Lipa,” reads one of the year’s most viral memes. The singer continues to prove that her life is one endless summer. The latest setting? The island of Ibiza, where it has become a tradition for the London native to spend her birthday (which is on August 22). There, she has been spotted with her siblings, Gjin and Rina Lipa. The trio is enjoying all the delights of the Mediterranean aboard a Frauscher 1414 Demon Air, christened “Hailey Su.”
Although its size classifies it as a speedboat, the company itself describes it as a yacht because of the quantity (and quality) of features offered by this small but mighty travel companion.
The 1414 Demon Air is the flagship model of the nearly century-old Austrian shipyard Frauscher, whose motto is “engineers of emotions,” combining the brand’s sporty character with an open design intended for enjoyment at sea. The boat, measuring 13.91 meters in length and 3.90 meters in beam, is powered by two 480 CV engines, each enabling it to reach a top speed of 38 knots.
Its silhouette showcases the shipyard’s signature features: the flat bow with a vertical stem, the Z-shaped side profile, and the frameless windshield. The Demon Air’s freestanding central helm frees up deck space, which features a cozy lounge area with a bar and a spacious swim platform.
One of its most distinctive features is the retractable sunroof, made entirely of exposed carbon fiber and weighing just 150 kilos, which slides sideways to provide shade for the stern area. Together with the side air intakes and the removable carbon-fiber pillars at the bow, this feature has become a visual hallmark of the model. The roof incorporates speakers to enhance the onboard sound system and adjustable LED lighting.
Inside, it features a spacious bathroom and two lounge areas that can accommodate four people, making it ideal for both day trips and overnight stays on board.
One more getaway in a summer of celebrations
The trip to Ibiza comes after 30-year-old Dua Lipa spent much of the summer in Italy, where she married actor Callum Turner in June during a lavish three-day ceremony in Sicily, with guests including Troye Sivan, Elton John, and Donatella Versace. The couple had already tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London in May.
While Turner has resumed his professional schedule and is promoting his new movie, *One Night Only*, Dua Lipa is in no hurry to end her own Mediterranean romance, which now adds Ibiza and the Frauscher “Hailey Su” to the list of settings for her summer.
