Sóller, the Spanish town most visited by cars of foreign tourists

The Mallorcan town of Sóller has emerged as the most visited Spanish town by international tourists traveling by car during the summer of 2026, according to a study on parking behavior conducted by the mobility platform EasyPark and Arrive.

The report reveals that the number of foreign drivers who parked in Sóller during the summer period was almost four times higher than that of the second-ranked city.

The top three international destinations for private car travel are rounded out by Marbella (Málaga) in second place and Campos (Majorca) in third, followed by Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Girona) in fourth place.

By country of origin, Germany was the main source of tourists traveling to Spain by car, with more than 24,000 unique users during the summer season.

France was second, followed by Italy and the Netherlands with similar figures, while Sweden rounded out the top five countries of origin.

As for trips made by Spanish drivers, the data shows a greater concentration in large cities and inland destinations.

Madrid topped the list of most active cities among Spanish users, tripling the figure recorded in A Coruña, which came in second place.

Rounding out the national ranking were Marbella—the only destination featured equally in the preferences of both foreign and Spanish travelers—and Segovia, highlighting the continued appeal of inland destinations during summer travel.
