The CaixaFòrum in Palma will host a series of activities during the last four months of the year, including an exhibition on the dinosaurs of Patagonia, an exhibition by local artist Ñaco Fabré, and a film series dedicated to the theme of migration.
First, the 'la Caixa' Foundation has organized the exhibition 'Cántico. Lo profundo es el aire' by the Palma-based artist Ñaco Fabré, in which he advocates for contemplation at a time when speed and hustle and bustle dominate everything.
In a press release, the organization confirmed that the exhibition will be presented to the media on September 15 and will be open to the public from the following day, September 16, until January 24, 2027.
Meanwhile, those interested in paleontology can visit the "Dinosaurs of Patagonia" exhibition, which will feature a replica of the largest dinosaur known to have ever inhabited the Earth; it will be on display from November 26 to October 3, 2027.
Visitors will be able to discover the diversity of Patagonian dinosaurs through replicas of more than a dozen different species, ranging from the only horned carnivorous dinosaur to the oldest known specimens.
Other scheduled exhibitions include 'Colors of the World,' on view until October 12, and 'Zuloaga and Anglada-Camarasa: Two Visions of Modernity,' until January 10.
Specifically, 'Colors of the World' invites visitors to rediscover the colors that are part of Earth's landscapes and the meanings they hold for each culture. Meanwhile, "Zuloaga and Anglada-Camarasa: Two Visions of Modernity" offers a journey through the work, lives, and friendship of two of the most important and representative painters of Modernism.
Beyond the exhibitions, CaixaForum Palma has organized activities such as the inclusive film project 'Time for Cinema: The CaixaForum Film Club,' which presents a selection of great films dedicated, in this edition, to the theme of migration.
In the field of music and the arts, established series stand out, such as 'Great Masters of Theater,' with an inaugural session in which actress Áurea Márquez will perform the classic 'The Seagull.'
Another musical project is 'Divertimento, Explained Music,' which brings the history of classical music to life through an innovative, accessible, and rigorous format that combines educational content with live musical performances.
Families will also have access to a children's program that includes, among other activities, a new edition of the 'Little Cinephiles' film series and the workshop 'Artefacto: A Thousand Tentacles' by artist Anna Irina Russell.
CaixaForum Palma will also offer science activities, especially the new science outreach series 'The Brain Through the Senses,' which will include talks exploring how the senses work and how the brain interprets sensory information.
