World champions… and champions of the sea. After the celebration at Cibeles, soccer players Ferran Torres (26) and Marcos Llorente (31) headed to Ibiza to unwind before returning to FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid. And if there’s one thing that’s been the highlight of their getaway, it’s the Lady KC, the yacht that has become their floating retreat during these days off.
It is a Maiora 99, built by the prestigious Italian shipyard Maiora, with a length of 28.5 meters—almost 30. The yacht can accommodate 12 people while underway and 9 guests overnight, served by a crew of three. Recently renovated, it features a jacuzzi on the flybridge, a panoramic sun deck, and several indoor and outdoor lounges, as well as a fully equipped galley. Notable among its nautical equipment are a water sports platform, paddleboards, a Seabob, a jet ski, and snorkeling gear. The daily rental rate is around 10,000 euros, or about 90,000 euros per week.
On board, the soccer players alternate between swimming in the open sea, jet-skiing, and a meal marked by one of the summer’s most talked-about toasts: a bottle of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Grand Cru, the world’s rarest and most coveted wine — with just 5,000 bottles produced annually. Its price ranges from 18,000 to 28,000 euros depending on the vintage, although much higher prices have been reached at auctions: the record is held by a 1945 bottle that sold for $558,000.
The Lady KC thus joins the fleet of superyachts that have chosen Ibiza as their destination this summer—the same island where the 16-million megayacht linked to Rafa Nadal and Fernando Alonso, as well as Michael Jordan’s 115-million yacht, complete with an underwater lounge, have also anchored.
