Ibiza Medieval 2026 is already underway, though with last-minute changes due to the weather forecast. The Ibiza City Council has postponed the official opening of the fair, originally scheduled for this Thursday, May 7, at 7:00 p.m., finally moving it to Friday, May 8, at 6:00 p.m. at the Portal de ses Taules with the performance “Ses Taules. The Threshold of Time” by Pablo Méndez Performance.
The rain has also forced the cancellation of the outdoor activities scheduled for Thursday afternoon, thereby altering the start of one of the island’s most iconic cultural and tourist events.
Even so, until Sunday, May 10, Ibiza Medieval will once again transform the streets of Dalt Vila, Sa Penya, and the surrounding area of the Old Town into a vast open-air historical stage, with hundreds of activities taking place throughout the city.
For three days, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy historical reenactments, medieval music, dance, parades, theater, fire shows, falconry, children’s workshops, concerts, and roaming entertainment at venues such as the Cathedral, the Mercat Vell, Reina Sofía Park, the cloister of City Hall, Santo Domingo, and the Santa Llúcia bastion.
