The Italian shipyard Azimut has a history spanning more than half a century and is part of the Azimut|Benetti Group. Across seven different series—Verve, Atlantis, Magellano, Fly, S, Grande, and Seadeck—it offers yachts ranging from 42 to 144 feet in length. The renowned Fly series now boasts a magnificent flagship, the Fly 82, whose exterior lines were designed by Alberto Mancini and the interiors by Fabio Fantolino. In this model, they have achieved an exquisite blend of the pure essence of Azimut and a host of innovative solutions that allow for greater enjoyment of the outdoors and the open-air lifestyle.

Alberto Mancini has achieved a dynamic and fluid exterior aesthetic that accentuates the sense of speed and highlights key design elements, while also emphasizing the goal of creating bright interiors with four rectangular hull windows that further define the different levels of the interior. The Fly 82 is the first model in this series to incorporate the Deck2DeckTM system, with the clear intention of maximizing the aft space in direct relation to the salon. In this way, it uses the transom not only as a garage door but also as an extension of the cockpit, as it is aligned with the cockpit floor, creating a terrace through a simple yet strategic design move.

The various outdoor social areas blend seamlessly with the functionality and elegant sophistication designed by Fabio Fantolino and the Azimut team for the lounge, centered around a round table where glances and smiles come together.

The main cabin spans the entire width of the fuselage, which is 5.87 meters, and is located in the area with the least turbulence; it includes three additional guest cabins and a crew cabin. In total, it has eight passenger seats and two crew seats.

The hull is constructed of GRP, with extensive use of carbon fiber in the reinforcements and superstructure to achieve greater structural rigidity and reduce weight, thereby lowering the center of gravity.

In terms of propulsion, the vessel can be equipped with three Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines (900 hp) or three IPS 1350 engines (1,000 hp), which propel this 62.7-ton vessel to a maximum speed of approximately 32 knots.
