Vestige Collection kicks off its fourth season in Menorca with three hotels and a luxury villa

Vestige Collection, the luxury hotel and private estate brand that transforms historic spaces into exclusive accommodations, has just kicked off its fourth season in Menorca with three hotels and a luxury villa, reaffirming its commitment to preserving the island’s historic heritage and delivering excellence in hospitality.

This season, Vestige Collection is expanding its presence in Menorca with the opening of Binidufá, its third hotel on the island, which joins its collection of luxury properties offering unique experiences. This boutique hotel, located in the wildest northern part of Menorca, shares an 800-hectare estate with its sister property, Son Ermità. Binidufà features 11 rooms and suites that blend traditional style with a contemporary touch, offering travelers a space of comfort and tranquility, with access to breathtaking views and the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities both on and off the estate.

One of the key features of Binidufà is its restaurant, Mesura, which offers a largely vegetarian menu that celebrates Menorca’s rich culinary heritage, featuring locally grown vegetables, herbs, and grains, as well as dairy products and eggs from nearby farms.

Son Ermità, for its part, welcomes its second season with a more intimate and exclusive approach. Featuring 18th-century neoclassical architecture, the hotel—with its 10 rooms and suites—has been restored to preserve its historic character and is complemented by modern interior design that creates the perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation. Guests can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere in the heart of Menorca, as well as one of the island’s best sunsets surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

Although they are two separate hotels, Son Ermità and Binidufà operate as a single entity. Guests can move freely between the two properties, which are separated by an ancient “enchanted” forest teeming with wildlife, and share facilities, restaurants, relaxation areas, and access to three coves along the island’s rugged northern coastline.

For its part, Son Vell, the brand’s iconic flagship hotel, is kicking off its fourth season on the island while maintaining its signature style of relaxed luxury. Located on a 180-hectare estate 20 minutes from Ciudadela, Son Vell features 33 rooms and suites and remains a benchmark for its refined dining options and a variety of activities, including horseback riding, boat trips, and wine tastings—all set in an unparalleled natural setting.

In addition, on May 21, Son Vell’s Vermell restaurant will host a unique culinary event, where Joan Bagur, executive chef of the Vestige Collection, will welcome Michelin-starred chef Víctor Lidón to present a collaborative four-course tasting menu titled “Cuisine of Memory,” which celebrates flavors and dishes that evoke the island’s culinary traditions.

In addition to its selection of boutique hotels, Vestige offers its guests exclusive luxury villas, such as Santa Ana, located just a few minutes’ walk from Macarella and Macarelleta coves. Santa Ana features six suites and elegant common areas that allow guests to enjoy privacy and tranquility in a unique setting. This retreat is ideal for families or groups of friends seeking an exclusive getaway, with experiences ranging from horseback riding to boat excursions, all in a relaxed, luxurious atmosphere.

Each of these properties has been restored and renovated, combining respect for their historical heritage with modern comforts. With the start of this new season, Vestige Collection reaffirms its leadership in the luxury tourism sector, offering unparalleled experiences in some of the most exclusive destinations in the Balearic Islands.
