ECO-ONE is carrying out the “The Hotel Drop” initiative to allow residents to purchase these items of furniture at “greatly reduced” prices.

The company ECO-ONE will organize the ‘The Hotel Drop’ initiative in Mallorca, which will allow residents to buy furniture from the island’s luxury hotels at “greatly reduced” prices. The more than 2,000 items on offer, as the company has emphasized, will be high-quality, in very good condition, and will have a “rich history,” as they have been part of establishments on the island.

Anyone interested can register for free on the initiative’s website to access the sale, which will take place online from October 29 to November 1. The furniture must be picked up in person in Mallorca.

Users who register before October 29 will be able to get early access and purchase the products. “Since quantities are limited, many products tend to sell out quickly, so registering for priority access is recommended,” ECO-ONE said.

The items on offer will include bean bags, sofas, mirrors, and luxury armchairs, among other things, with prices starting at 14 euros. For example, there will be mirrors for 30 euros, televisions for 100 euros, armchairs for under 35 euros, and tables for 25 euros.

According to ECO-ONE, this project promotes the circular economy by reducing waste and giving a new life to high-quality items in good condition. The initiative also has the support of the Council of Mallorca.

“The Hotel Drop” has already taken place in cities like Paris and Madrid, where dozens of tons of furniture that would otherwise have ended up as waste were sold. In Madrid, more than 60,000 people registered, and furniture from renowned hotels such as the ME Reina Victoria and the Hotel Miguel Ángel was sold.

“We want the people of Mallorca to be the first to benefit from these high-quality furniture pieces,“ said the company’s CEO, Carlos Fluixà.

As he pointed out, the main objective is “to prevent tons of furniture in good condition from ending up as waste, which is especially important on an island like Mallorca, where waste management is a challenge.”
