Atalaya Asset Management (AM) and Summum Hotel Group have launched Atalum Hospitality, a platform designed to drive hotel investments totaling over €2 billion through tailor-made operations for each project.
Specifically, Atalum Hospitality will offer institutional investors and family offices access to selected hospitality opportunities, as well as solutions for the sale, refinancing, repositioning, or transformation of hotel assets for owners, operators, and advisors.
The scope of the new platform includes urban and vacation hotels, as well as individual assets and portfolios, conversions, serviced apartments and residences tied to hotel brands, and covers both transactions developed by Atalaya AM and third-party mandates, as well as special situations.
The division will be led by Jairo González Monje, who joins as co-founder and partner. Until now, he served as an independent director and head of expansion at Petit Palace and was CEO of Sidorme Hotels, in addition to overseeing the operations and expansion of the French chain in Spain and Portugal after its integration into B&B Hotels.
Other executives who will continue to play a prominent role at the platform are Carolina Quetglas, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summum Hotel Group; Javier Vich, Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the company; and Aurelio Vázquez, General Manager of the company.
