The versatile presenter and artist Cristina Pedroche made her DJ debut this weekend at the DJ booth of the restaurant StreetXO, located in the Ibiza Gallery and owned by her husband, chef Dabiz Muñoz.
For the occasion, Pedroche wore a Nuria Sardá outfit consisting of a transparent red blouse and bell-bottom pants, and she wore her hair up. At 10:30 PM, she climbed into the DJ booth—specially designed for the occasion—to the excitement of the nearly 200 fans who were waiting for her arrival to witness her debut as a DJ.
For an hour and a half, the popular New Year’s Eve countdown host got the audience dancing with a varied repertoire that combined house music with touches of Afro house before evolving into a more powerful techno house sound. Pedroche brought her own style and originality to the set, under the watchful eye of her husband, who filmed the entire performance and expressed his enthusiasm for his wife’s success.
With this debut, Cristina Pedroche shows great potential in her new role as a DJ. Although it was her first set, she was under the guidance of her experienced mentor, the Ibizan DJ Sebastián Gamboa, who has been teaching her the secrets of the art of mixing for the past two months.
Cristina danced every song from her repertoire with elegance and style, and constantly cheered on the fans in the front rows of the restaurant terrace. She demonstrated perfect command of the songs in her repertoire, singing them with a wide smile as she danced to the rhythm of the music. Behind her, an LED screen displayed her stage name, DJ Pedroche, along with close-ups of her face.
The party ended at 11:50 p.m. The new DJ was thrilled with the audience’s reaction and the applause she received, and she spent quite a bit of time taking photos with her fans, always wearing her best smile. “I’m so happy; I’m really excited about this new chapter in my career behind the DJ decks,” she said.
