For years, Ibiza has been associated with a particular approach to leisure. Now, the island aims to expand this narrative and make wellness one of its new tourist attractions. From October 16 to 18, the Ibiza Wellness Weekend will hold its seventh edition with a program designed to attract over 1,000 participants and bring together some of the industry’s leading trends in a single event: physical activity, health, nutrition, personal development, sustainability, culture, and nature-based experiences.
The event will take place in four venues spread across the island: the municipality of Sant Joan de Labritja, the Ibiza Congress Center, the Ca Na Xica agro-tourism center, and the Juntos Farm regenerative farm. Instead of a conventional festival, the organizers are presenting the event as a three-day immersion focused on a concept of well-being that goes far beyond sport.
The program brings together professionals from various disciplines with local cuisine, outdoor activities, music, culture, and sustainability-related experiences. This approach also reflects the evolution of a tourism segment that increasingly seeks experiences tied to personal well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
From yoga to neuroscience, passing through gastronomy
One of the main highlights of this year’s event will be the participation of specialists and popularizers from a wide range of fields. Among them will be Crys Dyaz, an elite athlete; Elsa Punset, an emotional intelligence specialist; The Breath Act®, with a program focused on breathing and neuroscience; Vela Wellness, offering yoga and barre; sisters Sheila and Tamara de León, who lead Pilates and HIIT sessions; and Paco de la Fuente, an executive coach.
The program also includes activities focused on food, nature, and creativity, featuring Pablo Carrizo, head chef of Salvia; Nena Plants Flow, specializing in the use of plants; Suco®, which offers meditation and static dance; and live music by Sandra Bernardo, among other participants. The goal is to ensure that well-being is not limited to a single discipline. The program covers everything from physical activity to emotional health, nutrition, connection with nature, and personal development.
Friday, October 16 will mark the start of the event, with a welcome ceremony at Sant Joan focused on Ibizan culture. The day’s program will include a theatrical performance based on the mythology of Tanit and a tasting of local products. On Saturday, the program moves to Juntos Farm, a regenerative farm where various outdoor activities will take place, such as electric bike tours, mindful hiking, and electric vehicle tours, as well as workshops on vegetable gardening, incense making, and canning.
In the afternoon, attention will shift to the Ibiza Conference Center for a grand masterclass with some of the leading figures, including Joaquín Caserza, Elsa Punset, Mago More, Paco de la Fuente, and The Breath Act®.

On Sunday, the festival will come to a close at Ca Na Xica and its restaurant, Salvia, with a day dedicated to healthy lifestyles. Crys Dyaz, Sheila and Tamara de León, Vela Wellness, Pablo Carrizo and Nena Plants Flow will lead various sessions, while a roundtable of businesswomen will discuss projects related to regeneration. Suco® and a musical performance by Sandra Bernardo will close out the day.
The event also features a Wellness Market, artistic initiatives, and a series of experiences linked to industry brands. Participating companies include Caraibi, Blosse Cosmetics, Glow Botánica by Hormon University, Ecocesta, Cupper, Abbot Kinney’s, and AVEDA.
The festival also has a charitable aspect. This year it will support the Juntos Project, which focuses on children’s health, and the Elena Torres Association, which is involved in early-stage cancer research.
The event is organized by the Ibiza Island Tourism Council and its Health and Wellness Tourism Club, Ibiza Health & Beauty, with funding from the Ibiza Island Council and the support of various municipalities and partner organizations, such as Trasmapi, Decathlon Ibiza, Jeep-Terrenauto, and OWQLO.
The hotel as a gateway
The event also aims to be part of the island’s tourism offering. To that end, special packages have been prepared in collaboration with hotels that include festival access at no extra cost. The participating hotels are Invisa La Cala, Riomar Ibiza, Ca Na Xica, and Aguas de Ibiza.
The strategy links the festival to a broader trend in tourism: the search for vacations that incorporate health, physical activity, gastronomy, nature, and well-being as a central part of the experience.
In the case of Ibiza, the initiative consists of adding a new dimension to a tourist brand historically associated with leisure and nightlife. The Ibiza Wellness Weekend aims to show that the island can also be the setting for a different kind of vacation: one where relaxation, self-care, good food, exercise, and a connection with the natural environment are all part of the same vacation experience. More information, tickets, and hotel packages are available on the Ibiza Health & Beauty website.
