Nicole Kidman has shared a photo album of her recent family vacation in Iceland with her 11 million followers, describing the trip as “the trip of a lifetime.” And it’s no wonder. The actress sailed with her sister and daughters aboard a yacht from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, joining the growing list of celebrities who have chosen the luxury cruise line for their North Atlantic voyages this summer.
Leaning against the ship’s railing, taking in the Icelandic scenery, and relaxing in a hot tub on board, the 59-year-old Australian confirms that the hotel chain’s commitment to luxury sailing trips has been a resounding success.

The ship featured in Kidman’s voyage is the Evrima, one of three yachts in the Ritz-Carlton fleet, which this year is operating several routes to Iceland as part of its 2026 summer season. These include a five-night cruise departing from and returning to Reykjavík, with a stopover in Hafnarfjörður—a historic port dating back to the 15th century—as well as longer itineraries connecting the island with Copenhagen or London.
From Hafnarfjörður, passengers can travel inland to visit the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa with mineral-rich waters, and tour the Golden Circle, which includes Thingvellir National Park, the site of Iceland’s first parliament (930 AD) and the only place where you can walk right over the fissures between tectonic plates.
A true floating palace
Kidman’s getaway is part of the cruise line’s 2026 summer season, which features 44 new itineraries between April and October aboard the Evrima and its sister ship, the Ilma, with stops in more than 20 countries and 90 ports. The itinerary includes six new destinations: Naxos (Greece), Opatija (Croatia), A Coruña (Spain), London, Waterford (Ireland), and Turku (Finland), as well as stops in Estonia, Croatia, and Denmark. The itineraries, ranging from five to eleven nights, cover Greece, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the French and Italian Rivieras, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland, with overnight stays in cities such as Seville, Livorno, Palma de Mallorca, Saint-Tropez, Edinburgh, and Bordeaux.

The Evrima, the first yacht in The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection—and the one featured in Kidman’s Icelandic voyage—is 190 meters long and can accommodate 298 passengers across 149 suites of various categories, some of which are loft-style. The interior design is by the Swedish firm Tillberg Design, featuring a residential aesthetic inspired by the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Sunny Isles (Miami Beach) and Los Angeles: spacious, light-filled spaces, king-size beds, bathrooms with double sinks, and luxury linens, among other amenities typical of the brand’s hotels on land.
The yacht maintains one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in the industry—nearly one crew member for every passenger—and each suite has a personal concierge who serves as the guest’s sole point of contact on board. The experience is all-inclusive: activities and entertainment, beverages, multiple restaurants, gratuities, Wi-Fi, and water sports from the yacht’s own marina.
